Student Arrival and Departure Procedures

Safety First! Pickup and Dropoff AreasTo ensure the safety of Central Avenue students, all children must be picked up or dropped off at one of the three-parent pick-up and drop-off locations:
 
1) Before/After school Drop Off: In the parent loop in front of the school
2) Before/After school Walkers: Near the staff parking lot/104th St sidewalk (this is NOT for parking on 104th and walking up, this is for true families who live within walking distance)
3) Late Arrivals/Early Dismissal: Front Office
 
Areas will be supervised by staff, and any students who have not been picked up by 4:20pm will be taken to the lobby.  Thank you!
 
End of Day Student Changes Just a reminder to please call the school before 3:30pm when your child’s end of day schedule changes. This allows us time to notify your child’s teacher and your child of the change for a smooth end of day transition. Please call our office at 253-298-3200 to report end of day changes.
