Oh, The Places We'll Go

Students in grades K through 5 come to the library for a 40 minute session according to their rotating schedule.

Kindergartners do not check out items from the library until later in the school year and keep their book at school.

Students in grade 1 may check out one item, to be kept at school until AR reading begins. At that time an AR book (Accelerated Reader) will be checked out and can be taken home.

Students in grades 2 may have two items (one fiction , one non-fiction) checked out.
Students in grades 3 through 5 may have three items (fiction/non-fiction combination) checked out.
No fines are assessed for late books, however students will not be allowed to have more than two/three items checked out. All items must be turned in or paid for by Field Day in June. Some or all of field day participation may be restricted at the Principal's discretion.

Students are required to pay for badly damaged or lost items.

At the library students can:

look at books

check out books, magazines, and media
